If your child has a good eye for photography and wants to learn how to use their camera better then why not join me at my summer photography workshops for children in north London, N20 this summer.
There are 3 different themed workshops that run for 2 mornings (Tuesday and Thursday) where children learn about composition, camera mechanics, different modes and most importantly, how to take a GREAT photograph!
Three Summer Workshops
WORKSHOP 1
Exploring
Light and Colour
Children will learn and understand how to use light and colour in photos through a range of activities using textures, shadows, reflection and different types of light sources. Lots of hands on activities as well as time to reflect on your images.
My daughter looks forward to photography club every week, she loves putting all the techniques she has leant into practice, outside school and at home. Mona makes the lessons fun. Her passion for photography has passed on to the kids.
WORKSHOP 2
Capturing Summer
Children will learn to experiment and create artistic photos using shadows, sky, sun light, water and lots of FUN and plenty of action. Children will look at each other’s images and learn to give opinions and how to improve own work.
Photography Club is amazing – one of the best clubs! I’ve learnt so many new skills and its been such good fun. Now I feel like an expert photographer.
WORKSHOP 3
Adventures in the garden
Children will learn and master the skills in using macro/close up photography mode, landscape, portrait and perspective photography to create their own stories. Children will learn how to compose interesting photos using natural surroundings.
My 11 year old daughter is thoroughly enjoying the photography school club. I have been surprised at how much she has learnt in such a short time and the quality of photos she has taken have been impressive. Mona is a natural teacher with heaps of enthusiasm and makes each session fun and creative. I would highly recommend Mona and her photography workshops.
Suitable for ages: 7-13 years old
Location: All sessions will take place at my home Studio in Whetstone, N20. Weather permitting we will also walk over to the local park (Friary Park) for practical work each morning.
Time: 10:30am – 1:00pm
Cost: £60 per workshop (2 mornings for 2.5 hours, 5 hours to complete each workshop). All payable at time of booking.
Includes: Set up and materials used during the workshop, 3 digital images of your child (portrait, and at work) emailed to you. Nut free mid morning snacks.
All your child needs to bring is their camera (fully charged), plenty of memory in their SD card and imagination.
